Lately, I’ve been fascinated by the impermanence of everything — how our lives are just a fraction of a cosmic second, a ripple in the ether. And, in this brief journey we have, in this ever expanding place and space, we find others — whether due to chaotic randomness or something more — others with whom our stories intertwine, sometimes for life, sometimes not — and we love, and we lose, and we love, and in this way, I think we all leave an impression whether through emotion or memory — or both — in time that is eternal. Maybe that is at least a little piece of the meaning of it all.

Much of my photography is an attempt to explore the universal things that bind us  — love, grief, joy, regret — the marvelous and strange gravity of the heart as space moves us ever farther into an incomprehensible expanse.
